All Activities Class 9 Science Chapter 4 Atomic Structure

All Activities Class 9 Science Chapter 4 Atomic Structure

In this post, you will learn all activities of chapter 4 atomic structure. It consists of activities 4.1 and 4.2 in class 9 science.

Activity 4.1 Class 9 Science

   ·     Comb dry hair. does the comb then attract a small piece of paper?

   ·     Rub a glass rod with a silk cloth and bring the rod near an inflated balloon.

   ·     Observe what happens.

Observation Activity 4.1 Class 9 Science

The small piece of paper will be attracted to the comb.

The inflated balloon will be attracted towards the comb.

Explanation Activity 4.1 Class 9 Science

Initially, the comb is neutral but when we comb dry hair, it gets charged so charged comb attracts a piece of paper.

When a glass rod is rubbed with a silk cloth, it gets charged and this charged rod attracts an inflated balloon.

Conclusion Activity 4.1 Class 9 Science

Through Activity 4.1 Class 9 Science we can conclude that when two objects are rubbed together, they become electrically charged. The opposite charge attracts each other.

Activity 4.2 Class 9 Science

·     Make a static atomic model displaying the electronic configuration of the first eighteen elements.

Solution Activity 4.2 Class 9 Science

a static atomic model displaying the electronic configuration of the first eighteen elements.

Conclusion Activity 4.2 Class 9 Science

So above are the atomic models displaying the electronic configuration of the first eighteen elements.
