Solution of kelvin to Celsius Formula Based questions Class 9

Today we will learn how to convert kelvin to Celsius questions related to Chapter 1 Matter in our surroundings.


We have different types of units to measure temperature like -Kelvin, Celsius, and Fahrenheit , etc.


We will use the following Kelvin to Celsius formula to solve the numerical problems.


     t(℃)=T(K)-273 


Covert the following temperature to the Celsius scale


i).             450K

ii).          350 K

iii).      273K

iv).       390K

v).          500K

vi).       200K

vii).   373K

viii).  515K

ix).       295K

x).          195K


 Solution


i.              t(℃) =T(K)-273


    = 450   - 273 = 177


ii.          t(℃) =T(K)-273


       = 350   -  273 = 77℃

 

iii.      t(℃) =T(K)-273


          =273   -  273= 0℃

 

iv.       t(℃) =T(K)-273


         =390   -  273=117℃

 

v.          t(℃) =T(K)-273


         =500   -  273= 227℃

 

vi.       t(℃) =T(K)-273


        =200   -  273 = -73℃

 

vii.   t(℃) =T(K)-273


    = 373  -  273 = 100℃

 

viii.         t(℃) =T(K)-273


       =515   - 273 = 242℃

 

ix.       t(℃) =T(K)-273


      =295 -  273 = 22℃

  

x.          t(℃) =T(K)-273


    = 195  -  273 = -78℃
